Left hand mouse, right hand keyboard to copy and paste

The Problem

Users who are used to using the mouse with left hand and the keyboard with right hand often use the mouse with left hand to select text and the keyboard with right hand to copy or paste.

But the right hand shortcut to copy or paste, need to use the Ctrl / Command + C / V key from the other side of the keyboard, not easy to operate.

The Solution

For ANNE PRO 2 and ANNE CLASSIC D87 RGB, record the shortcut of copy and paste as macros, and bind to the keys suitable for right hand is one solution.

A detail about macro, please refer to manual. Below are the brief steps:

1. Create a macro

Creat a macro for the shortcut key of Copy.

  1. Click the plus icon, select New Macro in the popup menu to create a macro.
  2. Double click the created New Macro item, rename to shortcut_copy

2. Record the macro

  1. Click the icon next to the "Preview" text to edit it.
  1. Click the Record button to start recording.

  2. Press Ctrl / Command and C on your keyboard.

  3. Click the Stop button to finish recording.

3. Bind the macro

  1. Select the FN2 layer.
  2. Click HOME to hightlight(selected state).
  3. Right click shortcut_copy under the Library, select Bind to key in the popup menu.

4. Creat a macro for the shortcut key of Paste

Repeat steps of 1, 2, 3 to creat a macro for shortcut key of Paste, and bind to End( }] ) on the FN2 layer.

5. Download macros

  1. Check to confirm:

    • A macro for shortcut key of Copy is bind to {[
    • A macro for shortcut key of Paste is bind to }]
  2. Click the button Download to apply macros to the keyboard.

6. Enable Macro function

Enable the Macro function in Obinskit.

7. Have fun

  • Copy: Press FN2 + {[
  • Paste: Press FN2 + }]
